Our Favorite Vendors

It is the Ramada Bloomington at the Mall's 50th Anniversary! We are the oldest hotel at the Mall of America and about to be the newest hotel at the end of our $15 million renovation.

One perk of being a hotel that has been around for 50 years is that we have more experience with lots of different vendors.  Being able to host events up to 1,200 people gives us a wide variety of vendors that have come in our doors.

There is so much beauty and creativity that we have to offer to a bride and groom for their most important day. The Ramada has many unique features in so many different sizes ballrooms that the bride can really find what she is looking for!

I love booking wedding events with a bride that is creative and knows what she wants.  Wedding events have been my passion since I was the coat check girl at 14 years old at Turner Hill Mansion in Ipswich, Massachusetts.  I watched the happiness beaming out of the bride and groom towards each other. It was so fun to watch the whole night unfold around me and all the different pieces come together as a final product. The different decorations, the way the food is put together, the different vendors that are brought in and all the wonderful smells that come from so many different places.

These vendors all showed their passion for what they do and inspired me to find my passion in the wedding industry.  Working as the Wedding Specialist at a hotel gives me the opportunity to meet different vendors and have different options to offer a bride her on her day.

Every vendor finds their title in different ways.  Certain parts of every job give the vendor that bragging right and shows off who they are as a company and what they are capable of.  The vendors featured on my blog are vendors that bring an excitement to the wedding industry and seem to be made for weddings at the Ramada.

This blog has been created to let my brides know a wedding specialist's opinion on a vendor.  As your wedding specialist, I know how the vendor has worked with past brides, how the vendor works with my hotel staff, and the exciting details of what gives that vendor the edge over their competition!

So take my blog as an opportunity to learn a little about the wedding industry in the Twin Cities. There are so many ways to enjoy your wedding at the Ramada, and so many vendors to enhance your experience!
